PLEASE NOTE: Carnival and Royal Caribbean do not support the Discovery Cruise Program.  I can still book AnywhereAnytime Cruises with them if you'd like to cruise.

It's best to make a small investment in a Discovery Cruise now,
than to make an expensive discovery later!
I KNOW YOU'RE ON A BUDGET, SO I STRIVE TO KEEP DISCOVERY CRUISES AFFORDABLE.
Discovery Cruises are usually 2 to 5 days.  (7 to 14 days also available).
There's a variety of US departure ports for you to choose from:
CA (various), FL (various), Boston MA, Galveston TX, New Orleans LA, New York NY, Philadelphia PA, Seattle WA, Whittier AK
Discovery Cruises usually cost around $100 - $120 a day.
This includes:
taxes and port fees, your cabin, free food all day at a choice of several restaurants, shows, events, activities, and more.

Cruise fares tend to go up closer to a cruise date, not down.  Plus…
You choose your cruise ship when you book early.
Booking early allows you a better choice of cabin.
Booking early assures you get the dates and itinerary you want.
Some cruise lines offer perks for early bookers.

Guaranteed Return to Ship

The excursion company that I use has never had a customer miss boarding their ship after their excursion!
In the
extremely unlikely event that you miss your ship due to the late arrival of your tour, they assure you that not only will your accommodations, meals, and transportation to the next port of call will be paid for, but you will also receive $1,000 USD per customer for the inconvenience.  How’s that for service!

Whether you are taking a

  Discovery Cruise -
- cruise through any supplier -
- land and/or air vacation -
(in this case, search using the Destination tab)

you can book shore excursions for less than the cruise lines charge.
LEARN
MORE

While I partner with select cruise lines in order to provide you with Discovery Cruise opportunities, I am not affiliated with any single cruise line.
I will attempt to find you the best cruise that suits your requirements, in order to help you best discover if a career on a cruise ship is for you!

I only book with cruise lines that have agreed to allow Discovery Cruisers to contact the theatre technicians on board ship.  However, there is no guarantee that you will be able to connect with theatre technicians or other staff during your cruise due to circumstances beyond control.  In this unlikely event all is not lost - you will have been able to experience life on board a ship, check out the types of venues, learn about the variety of entertainment, and observe the technical aspects of the shows.
Regardless, I highly recommend a "behind the scenes" (of the ship, not the theatre) tour, if your ship offers one!
This will provide you with an informative sneak peak of crew life!

Rand Consulting and Design LLC dba CruiseTechies is not responsible for any experiences on board ships or with the cruise lines.
