One of the reasons you want to research cruise lines is to find out about their working conditions. Check out this video.... It's not really clear if the techie in this video is the only techie on board ship - not likely - but it appears on this day of filming that he was running solo. He has a mask on, and the video is from 2 years ago, so possibly this is during COVID. But it's definitely something you'll want to know about ahead of time.
